The Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) conference is a two-day conference focused on a comprehensive overview of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a prevalent disorder that complicates the care of its co-morbidities. While traditionally characterized by a pervasive sense of grandiosity, need for admiration, interpersonal exploitiveness, and lack of empathy, narcissistic personality is highly stigmatized, poorly understood, and treated with typically incoherent or out-of-date treatment approaches. Experts in the field will present on NPD theory, etiology, and treatment and attendees will engage in discussions to further their understanding of NPD. The conference will include presentations, question and answer sessions, clinical presentations, panel discussions, and group discussions. Over the course of two days, speakers will approach NPD from a variety of theoretical perspectives and multiple veins of empirical research.
